Cleaning and Maintenance for Grindzilla Herb Grinders and Pollen Presses

Monthly Maintenance:

This should be done monthly or depending on how frequently you use your herb grinder or pollen press. To clean your herb grinder or pollen press simply take the pieces apart and gently scrape away the residue build up with a toothbrush, playing card, and/or other object that can gently reach into the crevasses.

Yearly Maintenance:

This is recommended only when your grinder or press isn’t functioning at top performance and/or after heavy usage.

Find some form of container that has an airtight top. Make sure the container is large enough to hold the grinder or press. Fill the container with 90% or higher isopropyl alcohol that can be purchased at your local pharmacy. Pour enough into the container to cover the pieces you would like to clean. Avoid using plastic or PVC containers since they can leak harmful chemicals when exposed to alcohol. Glass is most ideal for this task.

Once you have filled the container above the level of the parts you would like to soak, put parts into the alcohol for 5-10 minutes, then use a q-tip to clean any stubborn areas. If you desire to clean the screen you can gently brush the screen itself with a toothbrush. Afterwards gently rinse the parts under hot water and blot dry the cleaned parts with a towel and finally allow to air dry.

With proper maintenance an herb grinder or pollen press can last a lifetime!!!
